Director Appointment Brings New Opportunities
We are very pleased and excited to announce the appointment of a new director - Jaime Towler.
We Have Moved!
Ripley have successfully relocated to new and larger premises in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Originally in Rankine Road, the manufacturing and powder coating/assembly operations were based in two buildings seperated by a sloping entrance and car park, with all of the resulting logistical considerations.
Our new location is one unified area that reduces processing bottlenecks, better integrates all operations, and therfore improves product and service quality to our customers.
Our new address is: Unit B The Faraday Centre, Rutherford Road, Basingstoke, RG24 8PD - see map (2013).
Ripley Engineering (UK) Ltd is incorporated
Ripley Engineering (UK) Ltd was registered as a new entity as a result of acquisition by C&C Industrial Group Ltd, which includes Fareham-based Coolers & Condensers Ltd.
A logical and mutually beneficial undertaking, the companies are highly complementary with little overlap. This move allows Coolers & Condensers to relocate sheet metal manufacturing and increase core production capacity, and offers Ripley opportunities in new engineering fields whilst retaining its traditional sheet metal manufacturing activities (2013).
Ripley's New ProgressPlus ERP System Goes Live
Ripley Engineering has successfully rolled out an all-new modern business and production control system to replace and consolidate legacy systems.
ProgressPlus is developed and supported in the UK by the successful Glasgow-based company Berkeley Myles.
The system will benefit customers by rationalisation of estimating and ordering processes, increasing order production visibility, and improving part and process traceability - all of which leads to increased levels of customer service.
"ProgressPlus seamlessly integrates many of the functions that were previously isolated systems with no common interface", says IT manager Andy Watts, "...we will become better informed across the organisation, which will help both us and our customers" (December 2012).
50 Years of Manufacturing Excellence Celebrated
Ripley celebrated 50 years of manufacturing by holding an open house event from Monday 14th May to Thursday 17th May.
Attendees met our team, explored our capabilities, and we hope that they discovered how Ripley could help them to cut manufacturing costs without compromising on quality. Our guests also enjoyed tea, coffee, and cake!
We would be delighted to offer any existing or potential new customers a tour of our facilities by prior arrangement - please contact us to find a mutually convenient time (May 2012).
